1. How can I change the System of Units in PosterGenius?

To change the System of Units e.g.: from the International System of Units (SI) into the Imperial, please follow the steps below:

  • Go to the "Edit" menu
  • Click on the "Preferences..." option
  • In the dialogue window that pops up, select "System of units".
  • Choose a system of units from the SI and the "Imperial".
  • The dialog window that pops up informs you that you have to restart PosterGenius™ to apply the changes. Click "OK".
  • After restarting, PosterGenius™ uses the system of units you last selected.

7. Can I edit a template?

Yes, you are provided with the tools to adjust any of the existing templates. Specifically, you can edit a template

  • by entering your own background image,
  • adjusting its opacity,
  • and selecting the way you would like it to be positioned or resized, in order to cover the background of your poster,

as is explained in the corresponding tutorial: Inserting and adjusting your own background images.

Furthermore, you can adjust the fonts and colors according to your liking, as is detailed in Adjusting the typography.

2. How will my copy of PosterGenius be delivered?

PosterGenius™ is delivered electronically, so that you can have it running on your computer within minutes after you complete your order, regardless of your geographical location.

How it works

Right after the completion of your order, you will be sent an e-mail containing your License and download link, as well as links to all related documentation.

Note that when ordering you are also provided with an option to include a Backup CD in your purchase, in case you require a physical package.


5. How can I deactivate Hyphenation in PosterGenius?

Hyphenation is by default activated in PosterGenius™, however it can be easily
deactivated by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the Edit menu
  2. Select Preferences, then Hyphenation
  3. Uncheck the box that says "Activate Hyphenation"
  4. and click Apply.

You can similarly reactivate the option above, or select to have PosterGenius™ hyphenating in another language, as is explained in the corresponding tutorial: Use hyphenation in your preferred language.
